Recently I was searching for a quality media player but didn't want to spend a dime. Luckily, Avidemux had the exact option for me! In the process of trying to get this all set up for myself, I stumbled upon a totally free version of Avidemux. At first I wasn't sure what this was exactly, but when I saw how easy it was to download and install, I knew that I needed to check it out. What I quickly found out is that this is actually the best free program to have on your computer, because it gives you so many features that most software out there will go for an additional dollar or two.
The first thing you can do with Avidemux is quickly add and remove files to your computer. You can download songs right from your computer and directly transfer them to your iPod/iPhone. You also get features such as previewing photos in their original resolution, as well as it being able to use Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, and Twitter to search for information. All in all, it's one of the better applications that I've ever seen.
The only problem that I ran into was that there is only a free version available. Most other versions that are available are being sold for a reasonable amount of money. You do have the choice to choose if you want the complete package or just the free version. I chose to go with the complete package, because I wanted to be able to download and install it. When you're ready to download it, just head over to Avidemux's website and you're all set.
